I hurt, feel sick and have a ton of stuff to do. A rare day off from work and this is how it goes. Always. Still managed to get a little work done around the house, just never enough - it's never enough. edited to say that I'm just taking a quick lunch break before getting back to chores. It ain't like I'm screwing around on here all day. :)

by Quentin interry gave me a copy of "in search of christian freedom"...no disrespect to ray franz...i am bored to tears....can't get past the frist chapter...soaked up coc, turned around and soaked it up again.... highly recomend coc to any jw (one that's not brain dead) or ex-jw (also not brain dead) who needs to know something about how the tower works....great book.... sigh, i seem to no longer have the attention span it takes to read a book of this depth....a sad commentary on me...has the internet dumbed some people down to the point that they can no longer read a book?
if that's what's happended somebody shoot me please... .

i remember as a kid i was told "no, we are not a religion.
" because religion was called a snare and a racket.

I think they just called it... get ready...seated yet... The Truth. Then, probably as a result of tax benefits, they suddenly had a light flash and realized that if there is "false religion" then there must be a "true religion". So they get to be the one and only True Religion and get all the tax benefits as that goes with it as well. Gosh darn, that new light sure is something isn't it!
The above is merely my speculation but it sure fits the pattern don't it?
